Company Overview
Intellect Management and Training Consultancy (IMTC) is a B-BBEE Level 1 training and legal compliance partner to businesses across South Africa. We are accredited by the Department of Labour, the Transport Education and Training Authority (TETA) and the FP&M SETA under QCTO delegation, and are a registered corporate member of the South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Saiosh). Our goal is to be “your one-stop risk management and training solution”.
We have been providing accredited training, public workshops, in-house training and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management Systems development and implementation to the public as well as the private sector since 2012.
We only make use of qualified industry experts who are employed on a full-time basis as facilitators, assessors, auditors, moderators and consultants. This ensures quality delivery and guaranteed client satisfaction. With operations strategically positioned in Gauteng and Mpumalanga, IMTC is ideally positioned to respond to our clients’ training needs anywhere in South Africa.
Our directors possess the necessary Assessor, Moderator, Skills Development Facilitation and Occupational Health and Safety qualifications and have more than 20 years combined experience in training and development.
Accreditation
Our primary accreditation is with the Transport Education and Training Authority (TETA) – Accreditation No. TETA16-678; and we are registered with the Department of Employment and Labour – Registration No. CI 283/3/12/1.
As per legal requirements, all accreditations issued by SETAs are valid for a specific period of time, after which a provider should renew the accreditation. IMTC has full accreditation with TETA which is valid for a period of 5 years.
We are audited by our primary SETA on a quarterly basis, it is as per these audit findings that we continue to be accredited as we remain above board in terms of the Quality Management System.
We have secondary accreditation with FP&M SETA – Accreditation No. FPM-2023-000037529.

Our Accreditation
IMTC is an accredited training provider. Our accreditation covers the courses we deliver and the certificates we issue, so the training your team completes stands up to audit and inspection.
What we are accredited for
- First Aid Levels 1, 2 and 3 — approved by the Department of Labour to issue certificates of competency in first aid under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Lifting machinery operator training — approved by the Department of Employment and Labour to issue certificates of training for lift trucks and overhead cranes.
- Occupational health, safety and environmental unit standards — accredited by TETA, including SHE Representative, OHS inspections, basic fire fighting, forklift operation and lifting operations.
- Health and safety unit standards within registered qualifications — accredited by the FP&M SETA under delegation from the QCTO, including hazardous chemical handling, legal liability, risk assessment and first aid.
- Continuing professional development — Working at Heights and Working in Confined Spaces are verified by Saiosh as carrying CPD points for registered safety practitioners.
ISO management system services
Our consultancy team implements and audits ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety), ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environmental) management systems. This covers gap analysis, system development and documentation, internal auditing and ongoing compliance auditing.
Professional membership
IMTC is a registered corporate member of the South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Saiosh), the body recognised by SAQA as the professional body for occupational health and safety practitioners in South Africa.
B-BBEE Level 1 contributor
IMTC is a B-BBEE Level 1 contributor. Procurement from a Level 1 supplier carries 135% recognition on your preferential procurement scorecard, meaning every rand you spend with us counts as R1.35 towards your procurement target.

Accredited training is recognised for your Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report, supports your Mandatory Grant claim against the Skills Development Levy, and contributes to the Skills Development element of your B-BBEE scorecard. Every delegate receives a certificate, and we supply attendance registers and training records for your safety file.
